Preparations Underway for Outgoing Investment Missions to Manila and Davao

    The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) National Economic Research and Business Assistance Center (NERBAC) 12 is now preparing for the conduct of the 3rd Outgoing Investment Mission to Manila scheduled on November 18-22 and the 4th Outgoing Investment Mission to Davao, scheduled on November 25-29, 2013, respectively.

    Now on its third year, the conduct of investment missions is a yearly major activity of the office to promote the prospects of Region 12 as a viable investment destination to potential investors coming from other areas in the country, particularly Manila.

    This year’s missions will be promoting a total of 42 projects coming from the various Local Government Units (LGUs) in the region, as well as the private sector. The projects cover a wide range of industries, to include agri business and aquamarine, energy/green, eco-tourism, public infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Health and Wellness. Said projects will be promoted to individual investors and institutions for joint venture, public-private-partnership (PPP) or for financing (banks, cooperatives, etc).

    The Missions will include company visits, one-on-one business matching sessions, as well as small group discussions. Companies to be visited include: BSP and Company, Inc., Dela Torre and Company, Inc., Frey-Fil Corporation, PhilCarbon, Inc., CM Pancho Construction, Inc., Petro Energy Resources Corporation, NV Vogt Philippines, Inc., Mirae Asia Energy Corporation, Ulticon Builders, Inc., and Vicente T. Lao Construction, to name a few.


Said mission will be organized in cooperation with the Board of Investments (BOI)-Gensan Desk.
